On sunday night Leslie completed the last stage of his apprenticeship, his gala night, what that entails is him doing "runway" style presentation for his friends and families held at the salon. Leslie completed 6 models all with very creative, interesting and innovative cuts and colours on the night, the crowd loved it below are a few images that were taken as part of a photo shoot in conjunction with the runway. All Junior stylists once completed there training with Bond get the opportunity to do a show like this, the reason we do this is its a rite of passage from junior stylist to senior senior stylist and it also allows the stylist to show their friends and families what they do.

Whats been really popular at the moment is the recreation of some really strong geometric cuts. Recently the hairdressing community saw the unfortunate departing of a hairdressing legend, Vidal Sassoon, the Leader behind strong geometric cuts for women, back in the 1960s Sassoon introduced his cutting edge and revolutionary hair cutting techniques, revolutionising the industry and liberating women with modern and easy to manage hair. Today we are seeing a big come back of this, as a memory of the genius that was Vidal Sassoon.
